UPDATE June 2016: Im -still!- playing this game many times a week. Still rating it at 5 stars. Im an AI player rather than multiplayer user, and find the random number generator just perfect to keep things a tiny bit unpredictable. As it should. UPDATE March 2014: I bought this game on my original iPhone. Yes, the "v1" iPhone! I am STILL playing this as my go-to, quick and always dependable game. Everything I said below in the original review still holds. Plus YEARS of playing it speaks to just how right they got it. Cant say it better than that. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ive had this since the original incarnation; I cant give the exact date, but it feels like more than a year, and I just keep coming back to it again and again. Yes, Ive gotten to know the AI well, but its still not an automatic win for me. But this is one of the few games that you can play in bursts - most games require your complete attention until you get to the end of the game, or a level, or something that takes a while. This game can be played for as little as a single turn. Things are always a little different, the luck of the roll changes things mightily, and each game plays just a little bit differently. Ive got 20 or more other games, and most are played for a while, and then they just sit. Strategery is the ONLY one I keep coming back to month after month, and I expect, still, year after year. WONDERFUL.

First - love the title. Wil Ferell? This game is so much fun - all the fun and strategy of Risk nicely streamlined. Well done!!!

Online games with friends do not work. The new game is sorted into "Completed" and then hops around, letting the game starter have multiple turns before the invited player. Bugged.

One of the few games that is always a joy to play. The games are the right length, and the gameplay is great. Thanks for creating it!

The game is awesome. I love to play it. But you need to be able to move troops around. At least from border to border. The game does not let you do this. And it should. So however you do it game designers, do it. Because it is the one thing the game needs.

Great multiplayer game, and challenging until you learn how armies are placed. Password issues though, Ive reset mine several times.

Simple, quick and extremely repeatable. My go to app when Ive got a few minutes to kill.

Got this game on my first iPhone and its still the first app I look for after getting a new phone. Always a simple pleasure.

This game is enjoyable, especially when trying multiple different game setups. Its a little to luck-based for my taste, but my only real complaint is that there isnt an option to allow the AI to "surrender", which can become tedious on large maps (especially on "winner takes all" mode). Still fun, and worth the purchase.

I dont want to think how many two to three minutes chunks of time Ive spent with this game. Ive downloaded and played dozens of games but this is the one I go back to month after month, year after year. Good times.

I have consistently played strategery for over a year. I never tire of playing. Online battles are my favorite, but if I am waiting on someone to play, playing the computer is a great quick fix!

Even though you buy it, it still has ads. And they are sometimes so invasive that they cripple game play.

Can you update to allow troops to be moved between your territories

Played this game for years. Love its simplicity and quick games. Its a true classic. Its lacking some features that could really help it stand out, but overall a solid game. There is one major bug, though. If you play this game offline, it often does not track your single player games well, forcing you to either replay the same game you just won or abandon and take the loss. Very annoying.

This was one of the first apps I installed on my 1st gen iPad that I purchased a week after its release. Years later, its still one of the best games in the App Store. A timeless classic and a must for any iOS game collection.

I really like the game and the setup and the options, but it annoys me to no end that it is at least twice as likely to roll a 1 as a 6 when attacking. Ive had this game for over a year playing off and on and this is a noticeable and consistent flaw. Please fix it.

Have you played... Chess? (You better have!) Checkers? (Youre weird if you havent...) Talisman? (If not, PLAY IT!) If you have played any of these games, then this is the best game for you. You can take it anywhere and it is all based on amusing strategy! Nerds to geeks to average people to that stranger over there WILL ENJOY THIS APPS GAMEPLAY!

This is a great game and very addictive, I have already recommended it to many friends! My only complaint is that the game doesnt rotate
